Your Fortune is Changing

Sep 03, 2012 Uncategorized 13 comments

Since it’s Labor Day here in the USA, I’ll be brief.

We had Chinese take-out on Saturday and my fortune was so good I wanted to share it with you all:

So what book do you go to for rest and escape?

Sounds perfect! I usually go for something that I know I'm not going to be able to put down. It's my guilty pleasure: Jodi Picoult

Yay!! What a most apt fortune!!!

Terry Pratchett books are always great for sending me far far away! Take care

  4. Wow! That is a good fortune! I usually get ones like, "Better an egg today then hen tomorrow"… whatever that means! Hope you had a great labor day πŸ™‚

  5. We went out for Chinese last week for my daughter's birthday, but all my fortunes were boring. I love yours!

You can't go wrong with middle grade novels. When I need rest and escape, that's where I go. πŸ™‚

That is the best fortune ever! There are too many books I want to start, so I can't name just one. πŸ˜‰

  8. What a great fortune!

Right now I'm reading Starters. It's really good. My daughter swiped it over the weekend and read the whole thing. I tend to read it just before bed to unwind.

    What a great fortune!
I don't have one particular book I escape with. I'm always happy to pick up something new!

  10. I just re-read Their Eyes Were Watching God. It is so insanely good–definitely an escape.

  11. I just got three new books in the mail and I'm about to start Shadow and Bone, yum, I don't even need a fortune to tell me what i'm doing this weekend!

Very cool fortune! I always get the messed up ones–like "It tastes good." What does that even mean??? Anyway, I read Susan Elizabeth Phillips to relax or a contemporary YA πŸ™‚
