  1. I've never thought of calling it Parent Tax. Very clever. I'll have to remember that.

The toothbrush giver must have been a dentist. lol

  2. Jess says:

Fun post and great photo! Love the parent tax concept 🙂

What a GREAT picture!!! And OK, so you were the GUM on the bottom of the shoe??? How does that look? 😀

Yeah, I'd be crying about the clowns, too. Do NOT send in the clowns, thankyouverymuch… ;p

Don'tcha hate those toothbrush turds? Parent tax… interesting…

  6. My twins girls are going to both be Indian princesses this year (I mean, Native American princesses). I ALWAYS wanted this costume when I was a kid and I think I even made one once out of a decorated paper bag, but it wasn't the same, in my girly eyes).

Trying to picture a gum on shoe costume????

  7. I always charge a parent tax, too. Those kids get way too much candy. It isn't good for them. 😉

  8. Totally love your stats! 🙂 One of the best costumes I ever saw was my college roommate's sister – she came as road kill! 🙂

  9. MikeS says:

I guess I haven't been a dad long enough. I didn't know about the parent tax.

  10. MikeS says:

I must not have been a daddy long enough. I didn't know about the "parent tax". But in my defense, my kids always try to give me some of their candy and I usually turn it down. I don't like candy as much these days.
