This vs. That: Beach vs. Mountains

I have been Slacker on getting to this post in part because I hoped more people would vote, and in part, I was pulling a Donkey and enjoying the waffling with melty butter and hot drippy syrup . . . yummm . *wipes drool of her face and continues typing*
This was a surprisingly hard vote for me! So here are the results:
Total votes: 18
Beach: 10 votes; 56%
Mountains: 8 votes; 44%
While a few of you expressed love for your reject, and one of you did suggest mountains NEXT to the beach (after voting, so I didn’t count a ‘both’ vote), most people were surprisingly sure of themselves.
And of course, I could have decided to split the vote 50/50, because after all, I grew up among the mountains, and I consider them to be my old friends. In fact, I miss them terribly and have considered starting a petition to rename the grossly misnamed Appalachians.
Hills, people. They are definitely HILLS.
Anyway, back to the subject at hand. When I vacation, do I dream of packing up my tent and enduring the hard ground of a mosquito-infested campsite? No, I do not. So of course, my vote had to go to the beach. But I agree with Missed Periods. I’ll take the 75 degree weather and crystal clear water, please. 🙂

Why isn't there Eeyore? He's my favorite. Piglet and Owl are up there too.
I missed the voting. I live an hour away from the Rocky Mountains, so I'm going to with the beach. We don't get to go there very often.
I'm going with Tigger, but I love Pooh too. My favorite, though, is Eeyore. He always has been my favorite since I was a little girl. 😀

I do not know how to answer this one because I love them both. I'm just gonna go with my gut. Pooh. But Eeyore is my favorite.

As for me, I've always been more of a Tigger kind of guy. Especially the fun, fun, fun, fun, fun part.
I've always been a Winnie over Tigger person. And when we were kids, my parents like to talk about how they'd ask my brother and me if we'd like to go to the mountains or somewhere else for vacation, and we'd always yell, "The BEACH!!!"
Then I lived there a while, and I loved it so much. And now I'd like to visit the mountains~ 😀 <3

Great subject for a poll! I've been partial to Pooh stories for years–the original A.A. Milne ones, not Disney. There's just something special about each of those characters!

Your choices keep getting HARDER!!!! Okay I have to pick Tigger because I have a lot history with his song (too long of story to explain) but it's painful because Pooh is Pooh!!!! And then there's the Tao of Pooh. So cruel and hard a choice. Ease up on us, will ya?
The wonderful thing about tiggers
Is tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber;

But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is
I'm the only one!
Pooh, because I think he was really cute when he got stuck in Rabbit's hole because he ate too much. Though I have an awful lot of Tiggers bouncing around my house, and I love them, too. Maybe that's why I'm voting for Pooh because I'm on Tigger overload! 🙂 When school's back in session, though, I'll miss all the action.

I vote for Pooh. Soft, cuddly and who doesn't love saying "Pooh"
I'm all about bouncing and fun, but I have to go with Pooh. Like Kendra, I love that he's something of a poet, and as someone who also doesn't know when to stop eating, my heart's with him.
I'm going to vote for Winnie. I just like hugs and Winnie is a very cuddly person or bear.
I have to go with Pooh Bear. He is just so darling. Tigger has too much energy sometimes.
